For us, sustainability means treating resources, products, and people responsibly. As a medium-sized technology company, we focus on concrete measures that we can implement on a long-term basis—rather than making superficial promises.
In doing so, we continuously refine our processes and document our progress in our sustainability report.
Many of our products and systems are designed for demanding operating conditions and a long service life.
Through our repairs, retrofit projects, software updates, and modular product designs, existing devices and systems can often continue to be used or adapted to new requirements. This conserves resources and reduces electronic waste. It also often makes operations more efficient.
Used S.E.A. products can be returned to us free of charge. Depending on their condition, they will be refurbished, used for spare parts, sent for material recycling, or disposed of properly. We also accept returns of packaging materials.

Our goal is to continuously reduce climate-relevant emissions. In the long term, we aim to operate in a carbon-neutral manner.
According to Germany’s Federal Climate Protection Act, greenhouse gas emissions are to be reduced by at least 65% by 2030 and by 88% by 2040 compared to the base year of 1990. According to data from the Federal Environment Agency, German greenhouse gas emissions in 2023 were approximately 46% below 1990 levels.
Using 2023 as the baseline, we aim to reduce our Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 in line with Germany’s climate protection targets. In the long term, we also intend to incorporate significant Scope 3 emissions into our decarbonization strategy.

This includes job security, flexible work schedules, fairness, equal treatment, and respect for human rights. Corruption, discrimination, and child labor have no place in our company. These principles are outlined in our Code of Ethics.
