Here we master Flex-PCBs and the manufacturing of assemblies.
We can process current SMD components with LGA or BGA footprints, but also very small components in 0201 size with our modern pick-and-place system from Essemtec. For component management, we have an automatic component warehouse with more than 1.2 million parts, where we have an overview of the current real-time stock at all times.

In addition to electrics and electronics, the development of project and product solutions always requires the appropriate mechanics. We use modern 3D CAD development tools for the design of components, tools and housing parts. Using the combined 3D visualization of mechanics and electronics, an overview of the finished solution can already be shown during the development phase. These can be system parts for e.g. test piece mounts or contacting, but also complete test systems.
We develop control and test systems for laboratory and production applications. These systems, such as battery test systems, require separate control cabinets with the power technology, power drivers, switching devices and actuators. We create the planning and design documents for the control cabinets using professional CAE tools such as EPLAN for project planning, documentation and management. Production and wiring can thus be standardized according to assembly and circuit plans. Changes, e.g. to existing plants, can thus be documented consistently.

Starting with the development process up to the delivery of projects and products to the customer, we follow proven and optimized processes to meet our high quality standards. The individual process steps are standardized and extensively documented – either automatically or manually. This means that all steps can be traced at any time in order to avoid errors from the outset. For quality assurance, the individual processes are documented and are regularly audited and optimized.
S.E.A. develops, produces and supplies technical solutions for many fields of electronics, measurement and test engineering. For development samples or small series, we manufacture required electronic assemblies, PCBs in SMD technology up to 0201 component sizes on the in-house Essemtec pick & place system. A parts management and storage system for electronic components enables us to monitor available parts in real time with fast access to more than 1.2 million components. This allows our customers to benefit from short development cycles and one-stop delivery.
Our vapor phase soldering systems from ASSCON ensure consistent soldering quality even of complex components in e.g. BGA, LGA or QFN housings. For quality and process control, the temperature profiles are recorded in each individual soldering process and assigned to the assemblies via the serial numbers.
S.E.A. develops, produces and supplies technical solutions for many fields of electronics, measurement and test engineering. These are our own electronic products, but also complete solutions or mobile devices specially developed for our OEM customers.
As part of the development and qualification of products, components and vendor parts, we test the temperature resistance and correct functioning over the required ambient temperature range from -70 to +125 degrees Celsius. For this purpose, we use our own climate test chamber from Weiss Technik GmbH to operate components under temperature stress. The temperature data are recorded and are included in the development documentation as a test report.
We can offer customized software solutions for operation, e.g. the sequence control of large test systems or individual test stations in test centers, as well as the matching embedded software for devices and platforms in the field of measurement and testing technologies. Technical software has different requirements than e.g. administration software or software solutions for web portals. In most cases, technical software requires a hardware connection in the form of discrete measurement and control signals or also bus systems such as CAN, MODBUS, IEEE, USB, etc.
Real-time applications or the processing and generation of fast signals in the low-frequency and high-frequency range from DC to well above 80 GHz are no problem for us.
With our many years of experience in the field of software development for control centers with classic programming tools such as C, Python or other scripting languages, we implement your requirements.

We have been developing programs and applications with LabVIEW, the graphical programming language from NI (formerly National Instruments), for over 20 years. More than 15 certified developers for LabVIEW with great experience are available. Product or plant software is our specialty. If you have to modernize a test stand or a test system which was realized with LabVIEW, we are the right contact.
We know the hardware and software products of NI in detail. Due to numerous LabVIEW projects we always use the latest and best technology. As certified partners of NI we are very familiar with the RF products like VST, USRP but also with MultiIO cards, bus interfaces and USB data acquisition. LabVIEW FPGA or LabVIEW under VxWorks or LinuxRT are tools we use daily. Of course we also advise you on the choice of the hardware platform and program architecture.
We have been developing programs and applications with JAVA for over 20 years. The platform-independent programming language has been used in projects and products for many years. Embedded solutions with JAVA on Linux systems are our strength as well as distributed applications in the area of client/server, Eclipse, etc.
Experiences with large JAVA applications for e.g. control centers, but also for products are our specialty.
