Overview
The SEA 9811is a cRIO module to connect to an ARINC 429 communication bus. The module has eight receiver channels and one transmit channel. It is electrically isolated by an isolation barrier from the backplane, which isolates the module from discharges of up to 5 kV. The front side of the module has eight LEDs displaying the incoming data packets. The module is powered directly via the backplane and requires no additional power supply. It supports low-speed (12.5 kBit/s) and high-speed (100 kbit/s) communication mode which is independently selectable for the transmitter and for each of the 8 receivers. SEA 9811 can be used in all CompactRIO systems with FPGA backplane.
