2Indicate
Build and design virtual reality into your display applications!
2Indicate is a graphic software, which allows easy creation and modification of sophisticated displays and instruments e.g. for the simulation of glass cockpits in the field of aerospace, automotive or railway and to connect them to data streams.
2Indicate has in the first been developed from the German Aerospace Research Center DLR for fast and flexible display generation simulating aircraft or helicopter cockpits.
2Indicate enables a huge amount of possibilities, because of the wide spectrum of graphical objects and availability of images and textures, which can be embedded easily. The logical structure of the meta language and the opportunity to generate display templates, enables the user to create complexe displays easily.

Programming
- rapid development
- simple definition
- easy application
- flexible instruments
- open interfaces
2Indicate includes the object libraries, the description language, a data logger and the render engine for application environment and control.
The 2Indicate programming language is text based and object oriented. The programming is done via Eclipse - an open source framework for software development - which is included as plugin. 2Indicate templates can be imported to be used within the Eclipse programming environment.
2Indicate runs on Windows and Linux systems and will in the future also be applicable for embedded solutions.
Furthermore 2Indicate can be used as Addon palette within LabVIEW from National Instruments. Extensive libraries with examples support the entrance to 2Indicate programming.
