RST Gateway
The cRIO RST Gateway is an AddOn component to the Remote Server Toolkit, which allows to initially configure the CompactRIO system or to initiate data transfer via remote command. The USB adapter with additional cRIO Gxxx, GSM, or GPS module allows to run the SEA cRIO Mobile modules independently from a CompactRIO chassis.

The Global System for Mobile Communications is a standard for digital mobil networks which ar used for telephonie and for packet switched and line switched data transfer and is used for short messages (SMS).
With the cRIO GSM module S.E.A. offers this technology for the National Instruments CompactRIO platform and allows remote access on CompactRIO applications, which are not connected to cable networks.
Please note, that the SEA cRIO-GPS module can not be used with National Instruments CompactDAQ.

cRIO Module with GSM functionality. Multi-band modem for 4 different frequencies 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz. Supports GPRS and EDGE protocol class 12. SMA antenna connector. SIM card reader with mechanical lock function. Send and receive SMS messages.
SW-Driver and Examples for LabVIEW 8.x/9.x available.
