SEA cRIO LIN Module

The LIN interface module allows to receive and transfer information on and to the LIN bus. It works in a LIN cluster as master-, slave node or bus monitor. It can be used in clusters that consist of nodes according to LIN specification 1.x and 2.x and it allows to read LDF files and configure different scheduling lists. The LIN module can work with bit rates from 2400 to 20000 kbit/s and supports flexible frame length from one to eight bytes.

For high speed acquisition it is possible to read the data of the LIN bus directly on the FPGA and correlate it with other processes.

The cRIO LIN modules cannot be used with CompactDAQ.

Function

cRIO LIN Module with two isolated LIN bus interfaces for the test and analysis of LIN telegrams or the test of electronic control units (ECU). Supported LIN 2.0 standard. Each port can be configured as master or slave port. Data rate up to 20kbit/s. External bus power supply via the LIN connectors. Additional support of K-Line Protocol ISO9141 (functional). LDF Files can be read directly to configure the system. Deterministic processing of telegrams with FPGA, and the possibility to modify protocol and framing parameters. Driver Software and Examples for LabVIEW 8.x and 9.x is available as download.
