Accessories
We recommend to use only accessories tested for the use with SEA cRIO modules. Information about accessories as antennas, power supplies, or cables can be found in our Shop.
cRIO Sync Toolkit
The GPS Synchronization Toolkit (GST) synchronizes distributed CompactRIO systems and correlates their measurements basing on the GPS time stamp with an accuracy of few microseconds.
Via a GPS receiver in the Gxxx, GPS and GPSIB moduls signals of the american GPS system can be received. This allows to get the current position of the CompactRIO system and the current time. So independence of the CompactRIO time base is reached and exact timing information is provided worldwide. Time and position data can be called by VIs.
For precise time measurements or time related data acquisition position and time signals can be processed with the FPGA.
Signal reception takes place by an active GPS antenna, which is connected by a MCX connector to the cRIO module. The antenna is provided with a operating voltage of 3.3 V by the antenna connector.
Please note, that the SEA cRIO-GPS modules can not be used with National Instruments CompactDAQ.
