SEA cRIO 3G Mobile module

The cRIO 3G module offers modern standards of telecommunication. Basing on 3G standard higher data transfer rates are reachable than using conventional GSM modules.

The new 3G software allows you to update a DynDNS profile, so you can always access your module via a static internet address. Besides you have remote connection to the CompactRIO system via a VPN server.

The 3G module additionally offers GPS function for position and time determination  of CompactRIO systems.

SEA 9721: may be used in the U.S. only in the AT & T network.

The cRIO 3G module can also be used with the National Instruments CompactDAQ Ethernet chassis.

Function

cRIO GXXX 3G module is a high performance module for the mobile communication via modern GSM 3G standards and additional GPS functionality to supply accurate position and time information with the build in 50 channel receiver.
The communication can be done with different frequencies via GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and UMTS/HSPA (850/1900/2100 MHz) protocol which can supply data transmission rates up to 7.2 Mbit/s.
Supports worldwide data transfer with multi-band technology. SIM card reader with mechanical lock mechanism. GPS programmable update rate of up to 10 Hz. The module supplies a PPS pulse output (TTL) signal to the backplane. Module is directly connected via the ethernet bridge cable with the CompactRIOTM Controller.
As an optional accessory there is a mounting kit available to mount the module as a 5th or 9th module to a CompactRIO Chassis. See Order No 60000057.
